What is Japanese Ju Jutsu?

Japanese Ju Jutsu is a martial art whose techniques were developed over hundreds of years by samurai warriors. Other modern day martial arts, including Judo, Aikido and Brazilian Jiujitsu, have developed from traditional Japanese Ju Jutsu.

Auckland Ju Jutsu offers classes in 2 schools of traditional Japanese Ju Jutsu: Takamura-ha Shindo Yoshin ryu and Kokodo Ju Jutsu.  Our students may study in either one or both of these styles.
