Jules Robson

 

Robson Sensei has been studying Japanese Ju Jutsu for over 30 years.  He started studying a modern self-defence style of JuJutsu (Shorinji Kan) in 1987 in the U.K. After achieving Instructor status, Jules moved to Cyprus in 1992 where he ran the Cyprus Jitsu Association for 5 years. Having then lived in Japan for 3 years, Jules moved to New Zealand  where he took up the position of Chief Instructor for Jitsu Australasia from 2003 - 2010. In 2012 he established a new dojo in Laingholm, Auckland to study and promote  traditional Japanese Ju Jutsu styles. He trains and leads study groups in both Takamura-ha Shindo Yoshin ryu (Koryu) and Kokodo (Nihon densho) Ju Jutsu.
